Built by clinicians, for clinicians

We started IAHPA because too many talented nurses, doctors and dentists were held back from aesthetics by confusing regulations and low-quality training. We set out to fix that — with clear, state-by-state guidance and a training programme grounded in real clinical practice.

Every course is delivered by experienced injectors, on live models, with all products and consumables provided. You leave not just certified, but genuinely confident.

What We Stand For

The principles behind every course, guide and consultation.

Safety first

Clinical governance and patient safety underpin everything we teach — no shortcuts, ever.

Honest guidance

We tell you what the regulations actually say for your profession and state — not what sells a course.

Real skill

Hands-on practice on live models with expert supervision, so you leave ready to treat with confidence.

How Our Training Actually Works

No surprises — here's exactly what the four days look like, start to finish.

01

Online foundation modules

Five self-paced modules — facial anatomy, anti-wrinkle treatments, dermal fillers, complications management and business essentials — completed before your practical weekend.

02

Live demonstrations first

Every technique is demonstrated live by your trainer before you practise it yourself — nothing is thrown at you cold.

03

Small-group, live-model practice

Groups are capped at max 4–5 trainees per trainer, with around 20 live models across the weekend, fully supervised throughout.

04

Certificate of Attainment

Finish both days and receive your Certificate of Attainment, plus documentation to support your CPD record.

Aligned With Australia's Regulators

Our curriculum is built around the guidelines set by the bodies that actually regulate cosmetic injectables in Australia.

How We Teach

Supervised from the first injection

You don't practise on a mannequin and hope for the best. Every treatment on our practical weekends is carried out on a live cosmetic model, in a compliant clinical setting, under the direct supervision of an experienced injector.

Your trainer demonstrates each technique in full before you pick up a syringe — so you've seen it done properly, at the right depth, on real anatomy, before it's your turn.

Maximum 4 trainees per trainer — you're watched, corrected and coached, not lost in a crowd.
Around 20 live models across the weekend, so you get genuine repetition.

What You Learn

Anatomy first, technique second

The theory is done online and at your own pace before the weekend — facial anatomy, anti-wrinkle treatments, dermal fillers, complications management and the business side. You arrive already knowing the why, so the two days are spent on the how.

Hands-on areas include lip and cheek filler, and anti-wrinkle treatment of the forehead, frown lines and crow's feet — with further areas demonstrated as models allow.

Complications management taught as a core module, not an afterthought.
Products and consumables provided — nothing extra to buy on the day.
Certificate of Attainment on completion, plus documentation for your CPD record.
Straight Talk

What four days can and can't do

Plenty of providers will tell you you'll walk out an expert. We won't. Four days makes you a safe, confident beginner with a real foundation — it does not make you a master injector, and anyone promising otherwise is selling you something.

Most practitioners need six to twelve months of supervised practice before working independently or opening their own clinic. We'd rather tell you that now than have you find out with a patient in the chair.

Foundation-level training — an honest starting point, clearly scoped.
Ongoing support after the weekend, because the first months matter most.
